New Africa Headquarters and in-Country Hires.  

VIA Global Health announced today the opening of regional headquarters office in Johannesburg, South Africa and the hiring of 8 new representatives working across Southern Africa and South Asia.

Vice President of Global Business Development, Brian Krawczyk, who spent weeks interviewing dozens of highly-qualified candidates across Africa, called the hirings, “a sign of VIA’s commitment to both Africa and India, and our understanding of the business landscape centered on building trust through direct communication and building of long-term relationships.  This growing sales team now provides our distributors a local and immediate response to their questions, enquiries and orders from someone they know and trust.  By adding this support, VIA now offers fast, easy and affordable product sourcing both online and offline – the way that medical sourcing is done in these markets, and the way we have adapted our sales support model to cater to.”

While the team is spread throughout southern Africa, VIA’s new African headquarters will be centered in Johannesburg with grand opening by the end of May.

Additionally, VIA Global Health continues to expand its commitment to health access in Bangladesh and India with the hiring of two highly-qualified sales representatives who will oversee the daily operations, distributor support, and outreach.

Chakraborty brings more than two decades of experience in medical equipment sales and support to the team, with a dedicated focus on expanding VIA’s growth in India.

VIA is currently scouting locations for additional offices in both India and Bangladesh that are expected to open in Q3/Q4 2017.
