Compatible with existing bleach and chlorine sprays, such as standard 0.5% (5,000 ppm) sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite (HTH), and NaDCC. Whether it’s a 650 mL trigger spray bottle or a 10 L pump contractor sprayer, Highlight® can be integrated immediately into your current disinfection protocols.
Tested and Proven
As a grantee of the USAID Fighting Ebola Grand Challenge, Highlight® has been field-tested with leading medical organizations in Liberia, Guinea, Haiti, DR Congo, and Uganda. Surveying more than 70 healthcare workers, 99% of respondents found Highlight® to greatly improve visibility and coverage, 97% found Highlight® very easy to use, and 100% prefer Highlight® over bleach or chlorine alone.
Safe and Compliant
Highlight® is not considered a disinfectant by the EPA and does not require registration under FIFRA. Third party laboratory testing has confirmed that Highlight® is not an irritant and does not reduce the efficacy of disinfectants.
Removes Human Error
Human error and a lack of compliance has been shown to leave more than 50% of surfaces in healthcare settings improperly cleaned, putting patients and healthcare workers at risk of infection. Highlight® makes it easier to verify complete coverage of surfaces and helps enforce end-user compliance by ensuring personnel allow a sufficient amount of contact time to ensure the disinfectant fully inactivates pathogens.

Highlight is used by NGOs and government organizations for epidemic response and epidemic preparedness trainings, by first responders for hazardous material situations, and by laboratories and universities for biosafety trainings and spill clean-ups.
Will Highlight reduce the efficacy of bleach and chlorine disinfectants?
No, you will still be able to kill the same pathogens in the same amount of time and concentration of disinfectant. Third-party laboratories have verified this data on a variety of bacteria and viruses.
Is Highlight safe to use?
Yes, all the components of the Highlight formula are on the EPA Inert list.
Will the blue color stain clothing and skin?
The color will not fade automatically on soft, porous materials, but the color will come out with water.
Does Highlight work with disinfectants besides bleach and chlorine?
At the current time, no. We are actively working on other formulas for different disinfectants.
